The Monroe Plug & Play puck light is simple to set up. It can be easily installed by attaching the pucks to the underside of your cabinets and plugging them into a nearby outlet. Alternatively, they can be hardwired to a power source with an additional junction box (sold separately), for use with a dedicated wall switch or dimmer.
Hardwired in-wall dimmers, found in every home across the world, provide a reliable permanent installation. Install these puck lights by directly wiring them to an in-wall dimmer switch for more lighting options. Adjusting the brightness allows you to match the needs of the space and occasion.
Light your entire countertop from a single power source by linking and daisy chaining up to 20 pucks with an extension cord. This eliminates the need to plug in each individual puck light, and allows you to operate all your lights from one outlet and one on/off switch.
The puck lights feature a 30-degree pivoting light source, making the positioning under the cabinet no longer a struggle. The swivel feature allows the light to be directed to a desired area, adding a directional beam to your backsplash or countertop.
The add-on puck to the 3-puck kit or 1-puck kit comes with a 12-inch lead and 12-inch tail wire, but the power cord and connecting cable are not included. The zinc alloy aluminum housing helps to route heat away for a longer lifespan, and both recessed and surface mount options are available.
This unit is wired for 120V operation, with both plug-in and hardwire installations available. If you choose to hardwire, please order the junction box IN-0501-3 (White) or IN-0501-3-BK (Black) for the installation.
The puck lights are dimmable with a wall dimmer switch, and the recommended dimmers are the GE 18023 and the GE Z-WAVE Plus ZW3005 14294-2.
